Chin-easy

Hello!

What a great week. Wow. Yesterday our good friend Harry was baptized! It was a beautiful service and half the ward came to support him! It was a super touching moment. One of the men in our ward that served in Taiwan way back when baptized Harry in Chinese, so that was cool. Man, Chinese is a weird language. Haha. Also, Harry invited 2 of his Chinese friends to attend, so it was good times.

Lately we have been seeing so many miracles with the members of our ward. In every private and public prayer we pray for increased Zion between us and and the ward, and God has answered our cries. We have had the opportunity to meet with the ward leadership and now they love us. And they call us and ask us to do things to help them in their callings! It is awesome!! I just love these people! Gahhh. Has the day of miracles ceased?!?! Feel free to fill in the rest... :)

Anyways, like I said before, this week has just been a super solid week. Sadly, on Friday we find out who will be getting transferred next week, and I am pretty scared. I don't want to leave this area or my companion, but I guess we will see what the Lord has in store, eh? :) I am so grateful for this church and the many blessings that I have received in my life. You guys are all the best in the whole wide world.

I wish you all the best! Have a Happy Easter! Check out this rad 2 minute video: helives.mormon.org

"If you could be any T Station which one would you be and why?"

So you know you are a missionary in a big city when the "Get to Know You Question" (G2KU?) during District Meeting is the one listed in my subject line. And my answer? The New England Aquarium T station. It's pretty rad. There are some really sweet geometric/trippy tiles on the walls. And the Aquarium isn't half bad either :)

Anyways, this week has been wicked great. We picked up several new investigators, including the husband of a lady who recently moved into our ward! They are super awesome and she is officially Sister Thompson and my new mission mom. We are super stoked :) It's gonna be good times full of the restored gospel and Dominican/American food. Mmm mm.

This past weekend was the Boston Stake's Stake Conference and we had 3 investigators attend! It was so perfect and we were able to introduce them to President Packard and President Rawlins (our millionaire stake pres). #Welcom2theBigLeagues. Stake Conference was all about the importance of councils and deepening our conversion. I loved it. All my wildest hopes and dreams were addressed. I just love asking questions and getting answers. God hears and answers prayers, folks.

I love life.

Furthermore, I know that God loves us all. When we come before Him and admit our weaknesses He will help us to become humble enough to apply the atonement in our lives. He does this so that one day we can become like Him. I am so grateful for God's love and the many expressions of His love for me in my life. I know that because He loves us He sent His son. Because He loves us He gives us prophets, seers, and revelators. Because He loves us He allows us to participate in family units. Because He loves us He has provided ways for us to communicate with Him.

Always remember that salvation is a process of becoming. Not just a place we get to go to. What are you willing to do to become more like Him?

I love you all!

Tenga una buena semana!

Breakin' Records

Well, folks!

I am pleased to announce that the Bostonian Winter of 2015 is OFFICIALLY the snowiest winter on the books. That's right. Last night a little snow flurry came in clutch gave us the last 2 inches that we needed. Woot woot!

Anyways, this week was all sorts of great! The beginning of the week was a balmy 40 degrees and I almost completely ditched my coat! It was uncanny! One day we went to go heart attack the door of one of our recent converts and we walked by an elderly gentleman basking in the glow of the sun with his dog. And we swooped right in there and taught him the restoration. Sister Thompson packs a solid 10 minute Resto lesson. She's great. :)

Harry Mao is still the chosen one. He just shares the gospel like it's going out of style. (Which it never will btdubs) He is such an amazing example to all of us.

I know that the church is true and I love being on a mission.

Have a great week!

Love,

I Believe in Science.

So no time to talk folks, because we went to the Museum of Science today with da zone! It was super awesome! I made a mayan name for myself: "Ix Nich" or Princess Flower. That's right. #PrincessFlowerSwag

Anyways, Boston is slowly thawing out! It'e totally great! This week has been so amazing. I wish I had more time to tell you about all of the miracles and tender mercies in my life! But just know that I love you all so much. God loves us all SO MUCH. Whoa. The church is true, and I am so thankful for the Book of Mormon. My souls delights in it's plainness!

Have a great week! I will pray for you all. The world is a beautiful place, and if you feel like you need more joy, peace, and the Spirit in your life, may I suggest that you share the gospel? Call up those local missionaries and go out with them! Invite your friends and acquaintances to come and see.

Love,

It's Like a Balloon, But With S's

Amigos!

What a week! Can I just say, I love Sister Thompson! She is awesome! We have a lot of Missionary Fun together :) It has been so much fun building Zion between us, the ward members, our unit, and district. This is the best area in the world, I am convinced. I just love it so much. So much. We have some of the most amazing investigators here! They are so strong and have the most pure desires. Harry and Cheng Cheng ask the most thought provoking questions. Oh my word. Like how can I give back to God? How can I wake up happy every morning?

Yesterday President Packard gave a Joseph Smith fireside, and I felt so enlightened as to what I needed to share with them. They really need to understand who they REALLY are. I cannot wait for our next lesson. Also, I love planning with Sister Thompson. She's the greatest. Ok, more plugs for Sister Thompson. I love, love, love, her. Everything is so much more exciting. You know who she reminds me of? Sister Sarah Packard. Yep, that awesome. Also, she is 4'11" if that tells you anything. Haha. I'm sure we look really funny together. I'm just the friendly bumbling giant.

Anyways, As a district we decided that we want to meet the zone monthly goal for finding new investigators. I know that we can totally do it. And as soon as we set the goal, the next day we got a new investigator from a media referral. It was crazy! And ever since, random people have been texting us referrals like CRAZY! Who are these people? It's like in Nashua when they just decided to achieve a certain goal (I forget what the goal was) and the stake president said, "Why don't they just decide more often?" Haha. Well, we have decided and God is providing the way. It has been awesome.

I love my life. I love this gospel. I love being a missionary. I love the MBM and the shelter it has provided me from the crazy things that have been going on back home. I love my Savior. I love Heavenly Father. I love the knowledge that I have been blessed with as a member of this church. I love the Book of Mormon. I love the people I get to associate with every day. I love my companion especially. I love the Boston 1st Ward. I love my district and the BEast. I love Boston. I love Angela Packard, by the way. And I love you all as well!

Have a great week!

Love,

Sister Frei
